Brides and their shoes

Great with short dresses or peeking out of long ones, it's all about the shoes...

A good way to pick up colour from your bouquet and a nice accompaniment to short dresses.

hurrah for sparkly shoes...

Love that little tattoo, been thinking about getting one of my foot too.

What style/colour shoes would you/did you go for on your big day? At the moment I'm loving short 50s dresses and think I'd go for teal or pink heels for the day and something totally different and comfortable later on. The best thing about being a planner and not yet married is that I'm surrounded by gorgeous wedding images and ideas and change my mind frequently about how my wedding will be!

  1. I love the look of vibrant shoes and think it's a fun way to incorporate personal style into your wedding day. I, too, am a fan of the short dress with bright (or sparkly - those are lovely) shoes.

One of my favourites in this collection is the second to last pair!

  2. I couldn't agree more, I change my mind oh, um about hourly about what I want for my own big day there's just too much damn good inspiration around! I think shoe-wise it'd have to be sparkles oh and I'm also toying with the idea of a teeny tattoo on the foot ;)

  3. I wore red shoes. Loved them - although they made my feet a little sore by the end of the night.

Too many choices... good luck picking

  4. These are all amazing shoes..
I'd love to see some more flat inspiration. The 3rd pic is cool and quirky!

Think twice about tattoo.. I am in the process of getting two removed. Doh

  5. I can't believe you're getting two tattoos removed @WestAussie! I can't imagine falling out of love with the 3 small ones I have.

And you're right I'd like to see more flat shoe inspiration, shall get looking...

  6. Thanks for stopping by! Love your blog...and all these shoes!

  7. Really nice photographs... :)
    Loved them all.....
